AI for ESG & Sustainability Reporting

For Chief Sustainability Officers, ESG Directors, and Operations leads carrying CSRD, TCFD, and UK SDR obligations. Every listed UK company is under the same regulatory pressure right now, and most are still assembling disclosures by hand.

The problem

Disclosure requirements grew faster than the teams reporting on them

CSRD, TCFD, and UK SDR each ask for more granular, more traceable data than most sustainability teams were built to produce by hand. The data usually exists somewhere, spread across supplier emails, internal spreadsheets, and systems that don't talk to each other.

We build the pipeline that pulls it together and keeps every figure traceable back to source, which is what an auditor actually checks, not just what the final report says.

What we build

From scattered source data to an auditable disclosure

Data pipeline

ESG Data Pipeline Automation

AI systems that pull emissions, energy, and governance data from disparate internal sources into one structured, auditable pipeline, instead of a spreadsheet rebuilt by hand every reporting cycle.

Supply chain

Supplier Document Ingestion & Scoring

Automated extraction and scoring of supplier sustainability disclosures, certifications, and questionnaire responses, flagging gaps and inconsistencies for a human reviewer instead of burying them in a shared drive.

Reporting

Carbon Reporting AI Dashboards

Real-time dashboards that turn raw emissions and activity data into report-ready figures, with the underlying calculation traceable back to source for audit purposes.

Compliance

CSRD / TCFD Compliance Workflows

Structured workflows that map your existing data against CSRD and TCFD disclosure requirements, surfacing exactly what's missing before your reporting deadline, not after.

How we deliver

Build-and-transfer, traceable back to source

01

Discovery

We map where your ESG data actually lives today, spreadsheets, supplier emails, internal systems, and which disclosure requirements it needs to satisfy.

02

Build

We build the ingestion and scoring pipeline on your infrastructure, with every extracted figure traceable back to its source document.

03

Shadow-run

Your sustainability team runs the system alongside your current reporting process before we step back.

04

Handover

Full documentation, source code, and training, so your team can maintain and extend the pipeline as disclosure requirements evolve.

Where we're honest about this

We haven't shipped a named ESG case study yet

We've built the same underlying pattern, ingest unstructured source documents, extract structured data, flag what's missing, generate a traceable output, for enterprise clients in other sectors. The regulatory specifics of CSRD and TCFD are what we'd scope with you directly. If you'd rather see the pattern proven before committing to a build, the AI Readiness Assessment (£4,500, 9 to 14 days) audits your current data and process maturity and gives you a prioritised roadmap either way.

FAQ

AI for ESG & Sustainability: what buyers actually ask

Do you have experience with CSRD and TCFD specifically?

+

We build the data pipeline and document-processing layer underneath ESG reporting, extraction, scoring, and traceability, and scope the specific CSRD, TCFD, or UK SDR requirements with your sustainability and legal teams during discovery. We are not a substitute for your assurance provider or legal counsel on disclosure sign-off.

Can a regulator or auditor trace a reported figure back to its source?

+

Yes, that is a design requirement, not an afterthought. Every figure the pipeline produces links back to the source document or dataset it came from, which is what an audit actually checks.

What if our ESG data is spread across supplier emails and spreadsheets?

+

That is the normal starting point, not an edge case. We build ingestion for exactly that kind of unstructured, scattered input, and flag gaps and inconsistencies for a human reviewer rather than silently filling them in.

How much does this cost?

+

The AI Readiness Assessment (£4,500, 9 to 14 days) is the usual starting point for ESG engagements, it audits your current data and process maturity before any build work. A full pipeline build is scoped and fixed-fee, priced after that assessment or an equivalent discovery conversation.

Do you have a live ESG client reference?

+

Not yet, and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise. Our live production reference is in corporate coaching (bettercoach), and our IDP work for an enterprise SaaS client used the same document-extraction pattern this would require. Happy to walk through both on a call.
